Family Support Meetings!
Dundalk PG H120 copy.jpg

Families and carers of people with autism of all ages often need support too, especially around the needs of the individual with autism regarding understanding, communication, expectation, motivation & sensory perceptions. They may also need support involving their emotional needs, behavioural and social strategies and techniques, education, transition, and rights & entitlements.

ASDI facilitates monthly meetings for family members of children and young adults with Autism and Aspergers Syndrome who live in County Louth and surrounding counties. These meetings are on a casual, drop in format and all are well come to pop in.  Meetings alternate between morning and evening meetings monthly.

Our Family Support meetings run in Dundalk and are accessible to all families living in County Louth and surrounding counties whether or not their family member has a diagnosis of autism. Our Family Support meetings provide a listening ear and sounding board for emotions and experiences:

Our meetings facilitate:  Bringing and sharing experiences Opportunities for families to meet each other and discuss issues,  Opportunities to increase knowledge and understanding &  Drinking lots of tea and coffee!
