A residential service for 5 adults with Autism, we are open since 2007, at Coynes Cross near Ashford, Co.Wicklow.
We have 5 people living here at the Paddocks, three of the guys live in the main building, one man has his own self contained apartment at the back and our only lady has her own (new) self-contained house with her own garden and entrance.

Our residents attend ASDI
day services at the Anchorage and our community outreach service in Dun
Laoghaire. They also do their own thing out in community such as going to the
cinema, going out for meals, shopping in Arklow, Bray or Dublin. We try and
make use of the local amenities such as gyms, swimming pools, parks, the
seafront in Bray, the Murragh in Wicklow, local gardens, as well as going to
events such as concerts.
The large staff team at the Paddocks provide 24 hour
support and are conscious that each of our residents are unique, with differing
personalities, interests, strengths and
communication styles.
The staff attend
ongoing Autism training through-out the year and provide differing levels of
support to each of our residents depending on their needs.

The staff promote choice every day as this is a
person centred service. We endeavour to get all our residents engaged with
activities they enjoy both in the community and at the Paddocks, but we are
mindful that we are a home and that downtime and fun are essential.
